Abandoned Piano Palace in Bratoszewice

Some people collect stamps, others collect coins. We collect abandoned palaces. Not literally, of course. It's like catching pokemons, but instead of Pokeball, we use camera. One of those Pokemons is the forgotten piano palace in Bratoszewice. It's been another abandoned chateau in our urbex portfolio. Almost each of the abandoned palaces or mansions are distinguished by a decorated portal that invites you to enter the interior. The richer the palace, the more detailed it is. However, this palace had special a hidden gem. In a a glazed patio, in the central part of the building stood a sad, abandoned German piano. Unfortunately, the piano did not survive the visits of many vandals and it looks like Road Runner dropped it on Wile E. Coyote from Looney Tunes. The palace first belonged to the Rzewuski family. After World War II, the building was used as a school. Today, it is rotten, dying, and lifeless. Even the piano has no spirit left and no one will ever play it again. Anyway, we found something magical in this place and we captured on our urbex photos.
